Manufacturers and consumers test a vehicle and deem it reliable when it meets all the standard safety regulations. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gives a car a star rating, which plays a part in whether it is reliable. Two other ratings influencing it are the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) and the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (MVSR) standards.

Ford Bronco Sport
